The First Snow of the Season

As we sit here amongst the 30+ inches of snow that are in our front yard, it's nice to remember that this did start out as one storm that was exciting for us! This one was a very windy storm so the drifts were pretty crazy in certain spots. As it was the first storm, it took us a ridiculous amount of time to get us all dressed appropriately and out the door. We've improved the process greatly in the many storms since! I was so glad that Jacob, who is not a great napper, slept long enough for us big people to be outside all together.
