Hello. My name is Carrie and it's been over a year since my last blog post. Life has us pretty darn busy between work, workouts, sports and friends but we have been enjoying our blog books a lot lately and I'm feeling the need to try again! 2015 was pretty fun, but rather than saddle myself with catching up, we'll just start over again with January of 2016!
Our big guy turned 9 (!) on 1/8!
Our little guy still provides non-stop entertainment.
Ethan requested a frosting-less cake this year but instead of penalizing the rest of us, I made him his own special piece.
On our way to Dave and Busters for the party with this crew!
It was kind of like Ethan was famous.
| Hey look...all 4 of us! Jacob LOVES the bear he selected with his tickets.
We started the year off with a bit of snow that was mostly ice by the time we got out on it. We slid down the driveway and attempted a few runs from the corner of our front yard. Jacob in a minion hat is just about perfect. He is still quite the menace! We got a new couch on like 1/4 or something and we still haven't gotten rid of the old ones. We look like a furniture showroom right now. Steve is in there trying to clean/organize a bit while I am doing picture stuff. I think he's pretty annoyed with me... The boys in their "made by grandma" jammies!
Ethan has received many sets of circuits between Christmas and his birthday. We all enjoy them and I try to get his friends interested in them too. Tommy was really into it!
Random family selfie. Well, the game did not go our way but the boys were decked out for the Steelers playoff game! So. Darn. Big. Grandma Jan and her boy. Cousins playing dress up!
Meeting Landon Whorf!
Meeting Jax Lachiatto!
The boys both had birthday money to spend and Ethan convinced Jacob to pool their money and buy sets for Lego Dimensions. Ethan researched the sets "they" wanted and how much they cost so that they could maximize their yield.
Jacob completed another session of gymnastics! We are taking a break from this session but boy does he love it.
One Saturday night we went out to dinner with the Lovell's and after dropping them off I popped a tire...
We had a gorgeous weekend a few weeks ago so Jacob and I busted out his bike! He did really well and went up and down the street next to Alice and Bob's 4 times all on his own.
He was pretty tired by the 4th trip.
He's such a good helper.
