Tonight we lit the menorah with Ethan for the first time. He started trying to blow the candles out as soon as we lit them! We tried to explain that they were Hanukkah candles not birthday candles and then he cracked us up by singing "Happy birthday dear Hanukkah". It was kind of confusing to him to let the candles burn all the way down but he eventually gave up on blowing on them.
