Happy Birthday to me!

Grandma Jan came up late Thanksgiving night to be here first thing in the morning on my birthday. The day started with she and Ethan making pancakes. One of Mr B's favorite activities.

This was the morning that Ethan found the Thomas costume that he didn't wear for Halloween. He really would have been tripping over it. He had to put it on and then we all had to put it on...including Sedona.

Ethan also helped make my birthday cake as you may be able to tell from this picture.

Sisters!

We're not sure exactly what Ethan's reaction to my NKOTB book is all about. It kind of looks like a "talk to the hand" motion.

Of course I had help blowing out my candle's.

But no help eating my cake!

Linda, Paul, Chris, Jenny, and Brandon all came over for cake and coffee and it was really great to be surrounded by family to celebrate my birthday. Brandon was the last to don the Thomas costume that day and it is now safely stowed away in the basement.
By Saturday, we were dying to get outside and move. We went to Weir Hill in N. Andover for a nice long walk.

Ethan did great in the backpack, but he was dying to move too. He's been picking up the pace a little these days so here's a little video of him running down the hill.

Saturday night, Jamie and I went out with Carina, Jayna and Monique to The Joshua Tree in Davis Square. They were playing great music and they had a birthday cake martini that was perfect for the occassion. We didn't actually get out of our seats to dance but there was a whole lot of jammin' going on!

I finally finished filling you all in on the month of November! December has been a good month so far. I can't wait to tell you all about it...
