4th of July on the Cape

We spent a few days on he Cape over the 4th and had great time! We saw lots of family and had lots of beach time.

As with many other days in our life, Ethan was mad at us about some sort of injustice in his word.

These little people were happy to see each other as always!

Building castes with moats...

...and then crushing them.

trying to float on his back.

Yep...he was splashing me.

You can't really tell from this picture, but I had brought Ethan's shorts for Jacob to wear home.  Normally we would get a good laugh out of him over it but we stayed at the beach just a tad too long and he was a disaster.  We were "that family" leaving the beach that day with Jacob screaming the whole way to the car.

Super Jacob!

On the swing that Great Uncle Gary built at Great Grandma Nancy's house.

Playing with blocks that Jamie and I used to play with when we were kids.

And then it was back to the beach for sunset dinner.

It was a busy time but worth it!
