Friday Morning with Katie

Ethan and I got to play with Katie all morning on Friday! Mark and Bridget had an offer accepted on a house and they were having the inspection. Somehow they thought it would be easier without their precious munchkin. Ethan was up earlier than usual that morning (he always is on my Friday's off!), so he was having a lot of trouble sharing but overall it was really fun! Katie is so mature for her age. It's hard to remember that she's a younger woman! She speaks very clearly and Ethan is going through a phase where he has so much to say that he's having trouble getting it all out!

Until she has settled in her new house, Katie has lent a few of her yard toys to Ethan. He takes this responsibility very seriously. The other night I asked him if he wanted to go on his slide and he corrected me and said "it's Katie's slide". We'll see if he remembers that when it's time to give them back!









Here they were going grocery shopping. They kept knocking on the door but nobody was answering.



Here they are heading upstairs for diaper changes. We put a stool next to the changing table so that they could talk to each other and giggle while being changed.



Excuse the mess...this is a quick pic from their dance party. We found "Toddler Tunes" on one of our music channels and we were boppin' all morning.
