I've already posted Ethan's big ski moment from the weekend. This was a great trip with our usual crew. All of the kids (and some of the adults) took lessons. We did not see the Lewis crew on the mountain at all (Michael was not skiing as his asthma was not doing well), but Steve and I had a really great day of spring skiing.
Connor did great for his first time out there!
Kim and Bill graduated from the magic carpet to the lift in no time. :)
At the top of the mountain, the trees were still showing the impact of the brutal winter we had this year.
We had hot dogs on the deck of the "restaurant" at the top with an amazing few of the lake.
Things were getting pretty slushy and crowded by the afternoon so we called it a day a little early and snuck in some Apres Ski with the Lovell's before picking up the kids!
Not a great picture, but here is our whole motley crew in the lobby of The Fireside Inn.
The kids got to play on the stage at Patrick's Pub while we waited for our table.
We were home by 1 on Sunday and to save us from "what are we going to do today", we had all of the kids over to our house for a few more hours together. First we played baseball inside...
...and then we put them to work breaking up the absurd amount of ice that had accumulated on our driveway.
