Way back on June 3rd, we celebrated a very special birthday with Grandma Jan! Jamie and I hosted a party at Mattakeese Wharf in Barnstable Harbor and we had a lovely afternoon with our family and a few of her friends!

| Phyllis came out of retirement and made a cake for her. If you haven't had brown sugar "sand" on one of your cakes, you haven't really lived. You might not think cake needs more sugar, but it does. Oh, it does. |

The sun did come out for a while but boy was it windy. We did head over to Millway for a beach walk after the festivities but we didn't last too long. It was really a lovely way to celebrate such a wonderful woman. We love you Mom/Grandma!!
