This is a fairly typical pose for Jacob. Fingers grasping any object that gets anywhere near him and back arching out of a seated position. He's a busy, busy boy these days!
Ethan has really wanted to be in charge of the camera lately. I guess it's one more way for him to avoid being in the pictures himself.
Jacob is trying to sit up a lot lately and doing quite well. It will be a while before he's boppy-free, but it's fun to see him trying to maintain his balance and reach for his toys without falling over.
Behold...my best picture of the boys so far!!! Ethan actually looks like his happy self instead of that grimacing little man you're used to seeing.
This morning we met The Barnes Family in Melrose for the first meeting of the new kids club. It was a sing-along and none of the kids were that into it so we didn't stay long.
We went back to their house for some play time and lunch time instead. Look at how Levi has grown! These guys were both so good. We were together for over 3 hours and neither of them made a peep. Well, except when Jacob figured out that he was hungry and I had to put him down to make his bottle. We heard from him then for sure! He gets really worked up about it and starts grabbing for it as soon as it's within reach whether we've screwed the nipple on or not. He gets this excited giggle going and grabs it with both hands and tries to hold it himself. His grip is good, but he doesn't quite get the whole tipping concept.
He is holding his new favorite toy in this picture as well. Thank you Auntie Beth for letting him keep his precious Sofie!
